9th ESST/VDZ Conference

10 – 13 May 2026 Lübeck, Germany

The Board of the European Society for Sugar Technology is delighted to invite you to the 9th ESST Conference, which will be held in Lübeck (Germany) from 10 to 13 May 2026 as a joint meeting with the German Association of Sugar Technologists (VDZ).

It will be the 9th pan-European conference for sugar technology bringing together sugar technologists from all European sugar producing countries. It encompasses a large exhibition next to the conference hall.

The conference themes are:

• Changes in beet quality and processing properties
• Decarbonization of beet sugar production
• Artificial Intelligence and sugar production
• General Sugar Technology

We look forward to an enriching exchange during the next ESST Meeting in 2026.
